Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup shortening
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 package chocolate chips

Cream shortening and sugars together. Add eggs, vanilla and rest of ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes.
